Teaching Activity

Teaching for MBBS students at QMUL
Our team organises a wide range of teaching activities for medical students. We provide support to all the undergraduate teaching activities including dedicated Gynaecological Oncology lectures as part of the Year 4 MBBS curriculum.
Our team members are MBBS Academic Advisors, OSCE examiners, and facilitate problem-based learning for Year 1-2 medical students. Our team also runs regular journal clubs focusing on research methodology and appraisal skills.

Students’ Supervision for Students' Selected Component (SSC)
We offer supervision to Year 3-5 medical students for Students’ Selected Component (SSC) that are relevant to the field of Gynaecological Oncology. We also organise dedicated elective placements for medical students from QMUL or overseas universities and encourage them during the placement to be involved in our research projects. This enables students to familiarise themselves with research methodology and get opportunities for their work to be recognised in publications and presentations.
If you are interested in joining us please email your CV and statement of interest to Mr Michail Sideris, ACL in Gynaecological Oncology m.sideris@qmul.ac.uk or Dr Caitlin Fierheller, Postdoctoral Research Associate c.fierheller@qmul.ac.uk
